Statement
My child spirit, the souls of love ones, my dreams and everything inspire me. This child spirit stirs a creative energy that I cannot explain and have no intention of trying to. I am constantly searching in my life and these figures are an act of discovery through experimentation and continue to appear in my work. I create simplicity but if you look deeper there is passion, pain, tragedy, beauty, joy, sorrow, birth and a bit happiness.
Who can say what these look like?
My work is a form of communication that moves through me just like a new space, a new environment play on the creative world of an uninhibited child. I have discovered through trail and error not to force, just listen, and let go.
Texture, color and even form are for now kept simple, clean, but the gestures are loud, the form is present and meaning is within you. And if you are honest real honest with yourself there will be an emotion.
What is most interesting to me? Beauty but if I accept this I must also accept the opposite. Therefore, my spirit presents and I then see it all as beauty. This beautiful uninhibited child is my spirit, it is one who is able only to see and except their surroundings without judgement, without criticism but with much exploratory questions.
